LAZARUS DANCE COMPANY
presents REVIBE U.S. A fundraiser for Vibe XXII Dance Competition in Costa Mesa, California this February 12, 2017 15 December 2016 | 5PM S.T.R.I.K.E. Gymnasium Molino Boulevard, Bacoor, Cavite Tickets: Early Bird Rate: PHP200 (purchased today until November 30,2016) Regular Rate: PHP250 (purchased December 1 onwards) We will be having more than 10 guest performers that will surely knock you off your feet! Don't miss this! MARK YOUR CALENDARS. SAVE THE DATE. VIBE WITH US!
Just last May, The Alliance bagged the Silver (1st Runner-Up) Medal in the Varsity Division of the 2016 Philippine Hip Hop Dance Championship by Hip Hop International Philippines, which makes them qualified to compete at the 2016 World Hip Hop Dance Championship. Dubbed as the “Olympics of Hip Hop Dance”, it is a huge privilege for the team to set foot on that very stage again along with the other Philippine representatives and qualified dance crews from all over the world. The said competition will be held at The Westin from August 8-12 for the Preliminaries and Semi-Finals, and at Thomas & Mack on August 13 for the Finals (both venues in Las Vegas, Nevada). Joining the line up of the team’s international endeavors this year is the World of Dance 2016 Finals, which will be held in Pasadena, California on the 30th of July. The team bagged the Gold (Champion) Medal for the second time in the Youth Division of the World of Dance Philippines National Qualifier just last March 19, 2016 at the AFP Theater, Quezon City. This time, the team will be pushing it further by joining the finals in California for the first time ever, going head-to-head with the other international crews. Given the abovementioned and upcoming journeys, the team will be holding a fundraising dance concert this year for the benefit of its WOD and HHI competing members to help them with their expenses towards their destination and while abroad – flight tickets, lodging/accommodation, food and competitions’ registration fees. Alliance Send-Off, now on its third year, aims to unite the support of its fellow Filipinos not just for the team but also for all the representatives of the Philippines this year. Events such as this never fail to gather the Philippine dance community and promote oneness in inspiring enthusiasts and believers of the culture and arts, as well as uplifting the impact of Filipino talent in the international scene. Foreseen as the biggest Alliance Send-Off production to date, the whole team will be showcasing newly choreographed, themed routines segmented in different acts, as well as their latest competition routines to an audience of over 1,000. Kicking off the show and joining The Alliance on stage are guest performances by APC Dance Company, J Squad (consists of members from CSA Dance Troupe, LSM Ground Zero, and UA&P’s Squadra Dance Varsity), Legit Status, MCHS’s Sayawatha Dance Troupe, UE Armada, Power Impact Dancers, and another Philippine representative in the Megacrew Division of HHI this year – the UP Streetdance Club. Alliance Send-Off 3 is happening on the 17th of July 2016, Sunday, at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater inside the premises of Ateneo de Manila University along C-5/Katipunan Ave., Quezon City. Tickets are available for only Php 300 each. Please contact Kitkat Morato at (0917) 890 2791 or any Alliance member near you. Open house will start at 6:00 PM so arrive at the venue as early as possible to get good seats and participate in games with amazing prizes from the event’s sponsors, and get to bond with the team before the show starts. There will also be food stalls mounted by vendor sponsors so you can satisfy your tummy cravings in between the show proper.
