Nandyang mag-fundraising concert, workshop, classes at competitions sila. Of course andyan ang Australia, New Zealand at Solomon Islands. Para matawag talaga nating World Supremacy Battelgrounds. Dapat may special award tayo na “Most Supportive Country”. Haha.. Mapa-Pilipinas man tayo o mapa-ibang bansa. Pinoy man o foreigner ang kalaban. Ang Diyos pa din ang ating kinakapitan. Mabuhay ang mga Pinoy Mananayaw!!! The hip hop dance community is pretty much growing here in the Philippines. A lot of potential dance crews are sprawling everywhere from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Those dancers are coming out with their dreams to share their talents, to represent our country in international competitions or to simply enjoy God’s gift to them. Every year, Filipino hip hop dance crews are winning in different international competitions in the USA, Australia, Switzerland, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and other parts of the world for their excellence in their craft. Filipino dancers are powerhouse in hip hop dance scene. With talented people, creative choreography, passion in their craft and the right facility, Filipino crews can dominate hip hop dance even more. The challenge of the crews right now is a facility that can help them fulfill their dreams. They need a facility in Manila that can accommodate and support their daily training. The PARC Manila in San Juan, Metro Manila is a great help in fulfilling the Filipino dance crew’s dream. Most of the dance studios are located in Quezon City which is far from the capital city. We, at Dance PH, is very thankful that a center for dance is nearby our city. The PARC Manila is strategically located near Manila, San Juan, and Quezon City. Dancers near this area can train in a good place. Dance PH is a blogsite that was created to inspire and support Pinoy Mananayaw (Filipino dancers) all over the world. We are grateful that The PARC Manila is also a partner for this endeavor. They have also the same share of love and support to our dancers whether in hip hop, contemporary, and jazz. They have hosted various dance crews in their studio to train. A hip hop group called Power Impact Dancers who will represent the Philippines this coming September 9-11, 2016 in the World Supremacy Battlegrounds in Sydney, Australia is one of their beneficiary. Conducting their rehearsal in a place like The PARC Manila is a great help rather than doing it in the streets. The dancers, mostly underprivileged, cannot accommodate to rent a studio for their rehearsals. But with the help of The PARC Manila, they can now see their routine in big mirrors, with proper lighting, great sound system and air-conditioned room. Dance PH have also tested the goodness of The PARC Manila when they accommodated us for a benefit workshop last June 23 to 26, 2016 entitled “Bridge”. New learning for our students who have joined our workshops has been accomplished with our seasoned choreographers. This coming weekend, another set of workshop will be conducted with three of the most respected and popular choreographers in the Philippines for the first time in one workshop. We have brought together the best choreographers in town to bring our clients world-class dance class. The class is entitled “Salt and Light Workshop” to be held on September 3, 2016 at The PARC Manila. We thank The PARC for having us on their center. We can now give our clients’ needs and wants by their collaboration. Hopefully, The PARC Manila will continue supporting dance crews and be our partner in building and inspiring dance crews. We hope and pray that it will grow even more and stay to its goal to help make performing arts become a part of every Filipino youth’s life.
